We offer a comprehensive apprenticeship programme in partnership with some of Australia’s most reputable hospitality educators including William Angliss, Victoria University Polytechnic and Holmesglen. You’ll be supported and mentored by our group culinary team, with experience including:
- Masterclasses with Executive Chefs and Head Chefs
- Educational tours of local producers, farms, distilleries and wineries
- Opportunity to experience a diverse range of menus, techniques and training across LUCAS venues
How it works
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery will teach you fundamental skills and knowledge across a broad range of subjects including cookery, food safety, financial and team management all whilst on the job.
Stand out from the crowd and get real experience in some of Australia’s most dynamic kitchens. Combining mentoring, training, and practical experience at LUCAS Restaurants, while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Your training hours are paid across your 3 year part-time course. If you are already studying full time, continue your studies whilst working as an apprentice at a LUCAS venue.
